camp Tutira Maia
Camp
Are we there yet I say impatiently to Sophie. Maia she says we have only just left school. As seconds and minutes went by we kind of got bored. At first we just started to talk and then 5 minutes it was a party in the back of the bus except Giorgia who was reading a book. Sophie started the song just keep swimming after that I was CRAZY. All the year six’s started to sing while the year fives just stared us in shock. Then I said in a super pumped voice this is you next year. Praises who thought she was a year six joined in. When we got there we were super excited and pumped to see Ryan and see our cabins and to see who we would be with. Lucky us we were aloud to pick one side was the boys and the other was girls. We all rushed to the cabins to see which one were in. The best sadly the six cabin was taken so we went in the four me,Sativa,Sophie and Alys. In the two room was Giorgia and Anupreet as we were sorting out the rooms Ryan came in and talked to us about the rules at camp. My highlights at camp were the flying kiwi, the night walk, canoeing and the mud walk. Ryan set a challenge to see the most muddiest girl and boy and of course. I did get it and Sukhmaan. When it was the last day with Ryan he started to talk how well behaved we were and gave me and Sukhmaan chocolate bars. On the last day we did some learning about the trees and the environment and native plants. When we had to go back to school we were even more bored then the way up here and it was boiling. We had to turn on the fans and have a lot of water but I lost my drink bottle and that was the only rescores we could use to stay cool. When we arrived at school junior cross country was on we got to sit under the trees and watch them go. Then we got to see all of our friends again after three whole days.
