Rippa Rugby

Recently, most of Room 10 have been involved with playing in the Hastings Rippa Rugby competitions. Some of us were in the Year 7-8 competition winning C team. Our B team were 2nd and our A team were 5th. Here is footage of some of us playing. 

Visiting the Hastings Art Gallery

On Wednesday 19th June Room 10 visited the Hastings Public Library. Once we had found some books we went next door to the Art Gallery. We checked out the display celebrating Radio New Zealand. Weta workshops (who are involved with The Hobbit Movies) had made some cool looking radios. Here we are standing beside our favourite designs.

Which one do you like?

              My Class Room 10

In  Room 10  we have be doing some awesome stuff  like playing games, swimming and learning new things. This year I can't wait to go to camp with my friends! I love being in a class with Mr. Easson because he is the first boy teacher I have had. Class has been really fun so far I enjoy the work  for once! On Friday we went to the Navy band, it was very noisy but I loved the music. There was all kinds of music like olden day and modern. After the band we went for a walk down Marine parade to the park for morning tea and my buddy Tyrone said to me to say to the cop " can I please have your car?" I started laughing when the cop said yes. When we got to the playground we ate and were playing on the slide, I fell down and it and hurt my back! Some random guy was laughing at me! I didn't want to go back to school but I wanted a swim so badly. Finally we got back to school and had a nice cool swim. Me and my friends Tyrone, Amrit and Alo were playing a game in the pool. That was a very fun and busy day!
